Cabin Rentals In Vermont – What’s Included?

When you’re giving consideration to cabin rentals in Vermont, please consider ours! As you enter our camp, you will see an open, L-shaped kitchen, tastefully equipped with small appliances, including an electric coffee maker, microwave oven and toaster. The stove is electric and full sized, and the spacious refrigerator is also electric. All of your dishes, flatware, and cookware are provided. And because cabin rentals in Vermont should include facilities for outdoor cooking, and outdoor meals a charcoal grill and picnic tables are provided for your enjoyment. Just bring the coals!

The bathroom is also located off the kitchen, and features a shower, but no tub.

Adjacent to the kitchen, you will find a dining area, with a table large enough to accommodate four to six persons. There is also a linen cabinet, holding enough fresh linens for your visit with us. And talk about the views! Views, views, views…. the dining room and living room area both overlook the water. You will also find the front door off the dining room, and that leads onto a spacious exterior deck – again, overlooking the water! Spend the early evening on the deck, observing the scenery and enjoying the cool, refreshing evening air, and then retreat inside as darkness approaches, for an old fashioned board game (many are provided for your enjoyment), a puzzle, or a good book. Cabin rentals in Vermont are all about enjoying peace and quiet, and our camp is the perfect setting for this!

As night falls, you might choose to curl up in the comfortable overstuffed couch or armchair, located in the living room. Or, perhaps you would enjoy relaxing in the recliner while watching a the local news or network programming on the flat screen TV. Maybe it’s movie night – kick back and enjoy a movie, using the provided DVD player. The views of the water from the living room may be enough to lull even the most troubled soul to sleep, but don’t stop here, as comfortable beds await you!

There is one bedroom downstairs, with a queen-size bed and bureau. You may choose to sleep here, and listen to the sounds folks associate with cabin rentals in Vermont, such as the babbling brook outside of your window, or the sounds of loons calling mournfully over the water! Cabin rentals in Vermont, especially in the Northeast Kingdom, also afford excellent opportunities to see moose or black bear. Perhaps you will even wake up to the sight of a moose or a black bear peering inside at you – it’s happened before!

If you’re feeling adventurous, climb the stairs to the second floor, where you will find the Master bedroom. It features a queen-size bed and a single bed. And, again, cabin rentals in Vermont, especially ours, come with views, views, views! Sleep upstairs, and wake up to a stunning sunrise over the water, and the sounds of chirping birds, and occasionally a loon calling out. Around the corner from the master bedroom, you will find the third of our bedrooms, this one featuring a full-size bed. Please note that some areas of the upstairs remain unfinished (unpainted walls). We continue to make improvements in these areas, but they should be noted.

This cabin, as is true with many cabin rentals in Vermont, is in an area that is less populated and, accordingly, there is no internet service available. You can make local and emergency calls from our old fashioned telephone, but will need to use a credit card for long distance calls. Some people are able to receive cell service, depending on their carrier.

Step outdoors off the deck, and a spacious, tiered lawn awaits you. We don’t know about other cabin rentals in Vermont, but we believe in providing various items for your outdoor enjoyment. Badminton, and a net are provided. Feel free to bring your own volleyball, frisbee, or other assorted games! And, of course, the water! Whether you are up to taking a swim off our dock, in the cool clear water, or you choose to explore the pond, you will have access to a rowboat for the duration of your stay. A limited number of life jackets (PDF’s) are provided, and are required by State law. You may want to bring extra of these items – always plan on wearing one when boating. We encourage our guests to bring kayaks if you have them, or even a canoe! Enjoy the water, but please remember – safety first.

Cabin rentals in Vermont are best when they have an outdoor fire pit, and ours is no exception! Our fire pit overlooks the water, and is perfect for toasting marshmallows or S’mores!

For you pet lovers, waste bags are provided, but you will need to bring your own restraint devices, food dishes and toys. There are no tie outs on site. For the comfort and safety of all of our guests, we require that your animals be vaccinated, up to date on their shots, and treated for fleas prior to their arrival. Hopefully this gives you an idea of what our cabin rental in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom has to offer!
